SPRINGFIELD, IL – State Senator James Clayborne (D-Belleville) and 44 other members of the Illinois Senate voted 45-12 passing House Bill 183 and approving concealed carry in Illinois.

“This creates a uniform, commonsense concealed carry program for Illinois citizens,” Clayborne said. “This ensures a citizen’s 2nd Amendment rights and avoids the uncertainty of missing the June 9 deadline.”
