012914 js 0413SPRINGFIELD – Governor Pat Quinn outlined his 2015 budget to lawmakers Wednesday. In it he called for extending the current 5 percent income tax rate that was set to expire next year.

State Senator James Clayborne (D-Belleville) reacted to his proposals.

“This is a difficult time and over the next few months we need to ask ourselves a lot of difficult questions about where we are leading our state,” Clayborne said.
